TaskBallTM was created in response to a real-world experience: Our founder was witness to a tragic mis-communication that occurred because a critical e-mail message was caught by a spam filter. Consequently, a delivery deadline was missed because both parties assumed the ball was in the other party's court. The results were nearly disastrous; however, out of disaster came opportunity. Soon after, colleagues developed software that would serve as a superior alternative to e-mail for delegating, communicating and tracking the status of tasks.
